"It really just feels personal because they stole Blue Blood and they stole Red Bull."
By now, you probably know all about Jeffree Star's robbery – or so you thought. In April 2019, the YouTuber had $2.5 million worth of products, including unreleased makeup, stolen from his warehouse. At the time, Jeffree posted a YouTube video about the"heartbreaking" incident but more details were revealed during the third episode of Shane Dawson's series, "The Dangerous World of Jeffree Star".

In the almost hour-long video, we hear Jeffree tell Shane about the incident. The cosmetics mogul looked visibly shaken as he revealed that it was an "inside job".
"It really just feels personal because they stole Blue Blood and they stole Red Bull," he said. "They stole the Red Bull and they stole as much Blue Blood as they could fit in a huge truck. There was more to steal but they ran out of fucking room."
Jeffree and one of his team members also told Shane the methods used by the robbers to break in. He said: "They came in through the roof. Once they figured out where they were gonna drop in, they used a saw. They literally cut a person-sized hole in the roof to drop down to the landing.
"They were able, from that point, unfortunately to access the security room and rip out the alarms and cut everything professional. They stole everything. They stole the backup. They stole the battery. Everything was wiped completely clean."
Jeffree went on to say that he had to beef up his security following the incident. "It made me terrified," he added. "We're having 24 armed guards. I'm having people sleep inside the building with rifles. We’re done playing."
Strangely, at the time, Shane was also dealing with his own problems. He'd been cancelled by the internet (again) after he joked about having sex with his cat. Despite the fact that they were both going through personal troubles, Jeffree and Shane were convinced that it meant there was something better on the horizon for them – the launch of their long-awaited palette.

"This shit is not a surprise for me," Shane said. "Something bad always happens right before something good happens. This is going to be the biggest launch of all time.
