Police say an investigation into a hoax bomb at Derby's Westfield is continuing.
Shoppers were evacuated and roads were closed while the army carried out a controlled explosion on a suspect package on Monday night.
Parts of Traffic Street and London Road were shut as a precaution after security staff found a suspect package in the shopping centre.
The Westfield car park was open until midnight so shoppers could get their cars.
A woman arrested in connection with the incident has been released without charge.
