Two Arrested In Nottinghamshire Over Cannabis Discovery

Two men in Nottinghamshire have been arrested after police found more than 500 cannabis plants at the scene of an attempted burglary.
Nottinghamshire Police were called to a report of an attempted burglary in Oakdale Road, Carlton, at around 11.35pm last night (Tuesday 19 March).
The four suspects had fled the scene but, on arrival, officers discovered a large quantity of cannabis plants.
The plants, which total more than 500, will be dismantled today. Officers were assisted by the police helicopter and fire service.
A 24-year-old man and a 25-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation.
