A man has been charged with the murder of a mother and daughter whose bodies were found at a house in Derbyshire.
Police and paramedics were called to the property in Station Road in Shirebrook, near Mansfield, shortly after 10pm on Friday.
The body of Julie Hill, 51, who lived at the address, was found along with that of her mother Rose Hill, 75, of Sheffield.
Christopher Whelan, 20, of Dransfield Road, Sheffield, is due before magistrates in Chesterfield this morning charged with their murders.
Derbyshire Police said Julie Hill's dog, which is believed to be a terrier, is missing from the house.
