Three More Arrested Over Birmingham Teenager Shooting

Three more men arrests have been made over the death of a teenager in Birmingham.

19-year-old Connor Smith was found collapsed in Forde Way Gardens in Hawkesley just before 11.30pm on Thursday the 8th of October.

Tests showed he died from a gunshot wound to the stomach.

Three more people have been arrested in connection with the murder investigation into the death of Birmingham teenager Connor Smith.

The trio were arrested from an address in Chelmsley Wood at around 5am today (Tuesday 13 October) and are currently in custody.

They are a 27-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder and two women aged 26 and 22 on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Three men arrested yesterday morning remain in custody today.

Detective Inspector Warren Hines, who is leading the enquiry, said: “Our investigation is progressing and we now have six people in custody in connection with Connor’s death.

“We continue to appeal for any witnesses or anyone with knowledge about what happened to come forward in confidence and talk to us as soon as possible."
