Roger Gower was shot dead by poachers in Tanzania in January whilst in a helicopter
The brother of a Birmingham man killed by elephant poachers in Africa has told Capital that the money they are raising in his name is making a big difference.
Roger Gower was shot as he flew a helicopter over a National Park in Tanzania in January.
He died from his injuries - before he could get to hospital.
His brother Max says the family are still coming to terms with his death.
A 'just giving page' set up in his memory - has already raised more than £200,000.
Max says 100% of all money raised will be donated to not for profit funds in Africa set up to tackle poaching in Tanzania in a bid to carry on the work that Roger was doing.
Yesterday, friends and family of Roger gathered for a memorial to remember him.
