They will join previously announced performers Taylor Swift and No Doubt at the ceremony next month.
Carly Rae Jepsen and Rita Ora will perform for the first time at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) next month, it's been announced.
The event takes place in Frankfurt on 11th November.
Fun. will also perform at the event, joining the previously announced performers Taylor Swift, No Doubt and Muse.
Rita Ora said: "I'm so excited to be part of the 2012 MTV EMA! And to be nominated is incredible – let's have some fun this year!"
Rihanna and Taylor Swift lead the nominations for this year's EMAs while Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj have also all scored multiple nods for the upcoming industry event.
Carly Rae Jepsen will perform for the first time at the MTV EMA in Frankfurt:
Rihanna picked up a total of six nominations, including Best Female, Best Pop Act and Best Look along with nods for Best Song and Best Video for her Calvin Harris featuring hit 'We Found Love'.
The big night will be hosted by supermodel Heidi Klum and takes place live from Frankfurt's Festhalle on Sunday 11th November at 9pm.
Other stars who are among the nominations include One Direction, Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj.
