TGI Friday’s are creating hundreds of jobs when they open a new restaurant in Leeds.
The American-owned company said new restaurants will open in Leeds next month and Glasgow in August, with details of the other four to be announced later.
Jobs will include waitresses, bar staff, chefs and managers.
TGI Friday's, which has 55 restaurants in the UK, opened its first in the UK in 1986, in Birmingham.
Spokesman David Carroll said: “2013 is on track to be one of our biggest years in the UK. Not only do we have six exciting new openings, we're also focusing heavily on our corporate social responsibility initiatives and continually supporting team-members' pursuits outside of work through our Friday's Family Foundation.
“One of our main challenges this year will be sourcing passionate and enthusiastic team members for the new openings.”
