Men Charged With Attempted Murder Over Sheffield Shooting

2 men have been charged with attempted murder and firearm offences after a 17 year old was shot in the legs in Sheffield last October.

Police got reports of gun shots on Cuthbert Bank Road at around 9.50pm on Monday 22 October 2012.

A 17-year-old was taken to hospital with wounds to his legs.

25 year old Michael Whitehead, from Oxspring Bank in Parson Cross, was charged last week with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence, and being concerned in the supply of cocaine.

22 year old Jamie Lee Howden, from Lytton Drive in Parson Cross, was charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.

They will both appear at Sheffield Crown Court again on Friday 8 March.
