Man Dies After Crash In Leeds

A 37-year-old man has died in the early hours of this morning after a crash in Leeds.

It happened on Moorfield Road at its junction with Stanningley Road on Saturday afternoon.

At around 3pm a black Vauxhall Astra collided with a black Honda motorcycle.

The 37-year-old motorcyclist received multiple injuries and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where he died in the early hours of this morning (July 31) 

The 21-year-old man driving the Astra has been arrested on suspicion of death by careless driving.

He currently remains in police custody.
