One person critically ill after fire near Wrexham

One person is in a critical condition in hospital following a fire near Wrexham.

Crews were called out just after 1am on Sunday morning to a house on Gwynant in the Acrefair area.

Firefighters extinguished the fire which is near the Plas Madoc leisure centre.

The cause of the fire hasn't been confirmed and is still under investigation.
