A 91-year-old woman's been attacked and robbed in Portsmouth.
The lady, who uses a walking stick, had just withdrawn her pension when she was attacked by a man in Wimpole Court between 12.45pm and 1pm on Wednesday (February 20).
She was pushed and fell to the floor. where she suffered arm and hand injuries. The robber, believed to be a man wearing dark clothing, then stole her handbag and ran away towards Wimpole Street.
She was taken to hospital to be treated for arm and hand injuries.
Police are doing house-to-house enquiries in the community, and the elderly victim is likely to have been targeted specifically due to her age.
The stolen handbag was described as navy blue with a zip top and a pink flower on the side, containing a white leather zip-top purse with approximately £194 and bank cards.
