Hampshire Police have arrested two people after a baby boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Officers were called to Iping Avenue in Leigh Park near Havant, early yesterday morning (Thursday 24 April).
The woman and man, in their twenties, are reported to be the one-year-old's mother and step-father.
They have both been bailed until June.
A Hampshire Police spokesperson said:
"Police are currently investigating the circumstances in which a one year old child received injuries which have left him in a serious condition.
"Officers were contacted by concerned medical staff just after 3.15am on Thursday (April 24) after the boy was taken to hospital.
"A 23-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man, both from Havant, have been arrested in connection with this incident and bailed until June 2014."
