Thieves Take Bows And Arrows
Police are appealing for information after a burglary in Patricks Copse Road, Liss, where bows and arrows were stolen.
At some time between 12.05am and 2.50am on Sunday, September 23 the offenders forced the lock of the garage door. Once inside they searched the garage and took two field archery bows and associated equipment including arrows.
The stolen items are described as:- A ladies left handed Samik Polaris bow, wooden frame and white limbs, 30 lb draw
- A child’s right handed junior Rolan bow, blue and violet frame, white limbs, 18lb draw
- A leather back quiver containing 10 arrows, green and red flights, and arrows marked with initials and a phone number
- A leather side quiver containing 10 arrows with blue flights and marked with initials and a number
PC Andy Brookes, said: “This was an unusual incident due to the nature of the property stolen. The bows and arrows are very personal pieces of equipment and are unique to the owners.
“There is concern that these items could be dangerous in the wrong hands and anyone with information about their whereabouts should contact the police immediately. Information can be given directly to the police or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
“I would urge anyone with any information about this incident to get in touch with us at the earliest opportunity.”
