Police are appealing for information after burglars struck at a house in the New Forest while the family were asleep.
Sometime between 11.30pm Thursday, October 4, and 4am Friday, October 5, burglars entered the house at The Warren, Holbury, through an unlocked window.
When another person who lives there, came back from working a night shift, he discovered the break in. A Play Station and 10 games, a Nintendo Wii with four controls and 15 games, bank cards, personal paperwork, a beige handbag and keys to the house, car and garden shed, had all been taken.
Detectives want to hear from anyone who noticed people or vehicles in the area, especially in the early hours of October 5. They also want information from anyone who has been offered items similar to the stolen goods since October 5 and anyone who has found a thrown away beige handbag.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Dean Miller at Lyndhurst CID on 101 or call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
