Teenager Assaulted After Night Out

A young woman's been sexually assaulted after a night out in Portsmouth.

The attack took place at around 2am on Friday 28 June in the Guildhall Walk area of the city.

The 18-year-old victim had been out with friends when she taken to an open area with some bushes surrounding, and was sexually assaulted.

A male suspect is described as of slim build, with short dark hair and wearing dark clothing.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Sarah Ridler, said: 

"Were you in the area of Guildhall walk in the early hours of Friday June 28 between 1.30am and 2am?  Did you see or hear anything suspicious?"
