PC Edward Tyrie, said:

“This is an unusual incident in that when the victim told the offenders he did not have any property to handover to them, they assaulted him and removed all of this clothes.

"Fortunately the victim only received minor injuries as a result of the assault.  This would have been a frightening ordeal for him.

“I am appealing for anyone with any information about this incident to come forward.

"Were you in the area at the time of the incident?  Did you see anyone matching these descriptions hanging around the area or making their way from the scene?

"I would urge anyone with any information, no matter how small, to come forward and speak to us and help us find the two people responsible.”

Anyone with any information should contact PC Tyrie at Andover CID on 101, or call the Crimestoppers charity, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
