Teenage Girl Dies As Car Hits Building
A 16-year-old girl has died and another teenager is seriously injured after the car they were in hit a building at Havant.
Police were called at 10.42pm on Saturday 25th May. Three teenagers were in a Vauxhall Tigra car which left the road and struck a building, part of Staunton Country Park premises, at Petersfield Road, Havant.
A 16-year-old girl passenger was declared dead at the scene. The young male driver was also injured and was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital where his injuries are currently being assessed.
A rear-seat passenger, believed to be a male in his teens, sustained serious head and leg injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital.
The building was unoccupied and nobody else was hurt.
Officers are focussing their investigation on establishing all the circumstances leading to the collision and speaking to witnesses.
