Police are investigating after thieves broke into at least 14 cars in one night parked in Havant.
During the early hours of Sunday, December 9, 2012, the cars had their windows smashed, and items stolen included an expensive set of golf clubs, clothing, a Sat Nav and car stereo.
The streets affected were South Street, Twittens Way, Grove Road and The Parchment.
Investigating officer PC Samantha Hockley said: "Thefts from motor vehicles on this scale in one night is rare, but whoever was responsible has not only stolen items from at least one car, they have caused a significant amount of damage
to 14 vehicles.
Police are appealing for witnesses or for anyone with information that may assist the investigation to contact police.
Some people may have been in the area after visiting the town for the evening.
