Southampton: Woman Found On Street With Serious Injuries

A man's been arrested and bailed after a woman was found on a Southampton street with serious injuries including two broken arms.

The 62 year-old from Southampton was discovered on Peach Road just after 4pm on Tuesday, October 28.

She was treated at Southampton General Hospital for injuries including broken arms, fractured shoulders, and facial injuries.

Police are now investigating how she came to receive the injuries. They think she was making her way home from the Mountbatten Pub at Lordshill before she was found.

A 57 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and later bailed until January 2 2015.
