Southampton Wagamama Creates 48 New Jobs

Wagamama will be bringing its much-loved Japanese-inspired menu to Southampton on 14 november, as it opens its latest restaurant in the city's Westquay Shopping Centre

The new restaurant is part of Wagamama's expansion across the uk and will create 48 new jobs for the area.

A statement reads:

The eatery will offer ample seating both inside the restaurant and also extra tables at its front in the shopping centre, totaling 132 covers to be one of Wagamama's larger branches.

The restaurant arrives in Southampton as part of an extensive revamp of the Westquay centre's dining quarter and will offer shoppers a choice of delicious rice dishes and tasty salads as well as wagamama's ever-popular ramen offering. Younger diners can enjoy the mini mains menu and 'noodle doodle' activity sheets, which are fronted by hoshi, a fun character for kids to get to know.

"We are so excited to be opening in Southampton," Wagamama Director of Marketing, Ingrid Williamson commented.

"There's something for everyone on our menu and we're hoping that locals and visitors alike are looking forward to joining us for their next Wagamama experience!"
