Two men have been arrested after a security van driver was robbed at knifepoint in the New Forest.
Police are appealing for information after the driver was robbed outside Tesco Express in Salisbury Street, Fordingbridge at approximately 11.10am on Wednesday 5 March.
A man approached the G4S driver, threatened him with a knife, and demanded that a cash box was handed over. Following the robbery the man got into a nearby vehicle being driven by a second man.
The G4S driver, a man in his 40s from Bournemouth, was uninjured.
A short time afterwards Wiltshire Police assisted in arresting two men. A quantity of cash has been recovered.
A 41-year-old man and a 26-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and remain in police custody.
