Detectives have this morning (Friday, October 7) charged a man with attempted kidnap with the intent to commit a sexual offence and possession of a bladed article.
Roger Seath, 41, no fixed abode, has been charged and held on remand.
The charge comes after police received a report of a suspicious man following and trying to stop and talk to a 14-year-old girl on Kent Road just before 4pm on Wednesday, October 5.
