Man Charged After Cashpoint Explosion
A man's been charged after a cashpoint was blown open in a burglary at a Hampshire petrol station.
Police say Damien Limb, who's 26-years-old and from Lichfield Road in Bristol, is accused of conspiracy with persons unknown to commit criminal damage recklessly endangering life and conspiracy to steal from another.
He will appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court today (Thursday, April 4).
Officers were called to the Texaco petrol station on Amesbury Road just before 4am on Sunday 31 March after a member of the public called saying they had heard a loud bang.
They found a stand alone cashpoint on the forecourt had been blown open and money from inside stolen.
