Road Rage Attack In Shanklin

A man's been left shocked after an unprovoked road rage attack on the Isle of Wight.

He was hit with a bollard at the traffic lights while sat in a purple Honda Civic on Shanklin High Street last Thursday evening. 

It's alleged a man pushed it through his drivers side window. It happened at the junction with Victoria Road at about 9.30pm. 

The victim, who was a man in his 20s, didn't need medical treatment. 

The suspect is described as a white man, aged between 25 and 29-years-old, chubby build, about 5ft 9ins tall with short dark hair. 

Police are appealing for witnesses.
