Police on the Isle of Wight have started a campaign - urging people to drive more carefully to get around binmen.
The joint initiative is being launched by Island Waste Services and Hampshire Police to try to cut driving manoeuvres that pose a danger to staff collecting recycling and refuse from homes.
They've released the following video, showing drivers mounting the pavement and narrowly missing workers.
A Hampshire Police message said:
"The video clearly shows some of the dangerous or impatient driving currently being reported such cars being driven on pavements, driving too close, cars hitting collection vehicles or staff and threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour, will be reported formally to local police who have committed to investigate such incidents.
"Offenders could face fines, community service or court prosecution."
