The Pompey Supporters Trust say they have a plan to save the club from being liquidated.
The Trust say they've got new backers for their bid to take over and run things at Fratton Park.
There is just over a week to go until the deadline of August 10th - that's when administrator Trevor Birch says the club could go under.
It's being put down to the wages having to be paid out to the senior players at Fratton Park.
Kanu has recently departed, but Dave Kitson, Tel Ben Haim and Liam Lawrence are still on the books.
Birch has warned unless the club's remaining senior players either reached agreement over unpaid wages or left the club, Pompey will go out of business.
