Police have used a taser gun to arrest a man on the Isle of Wight, following reports someone had a weapon and was threatening to kill people.
Officers attended an address in North Road, Shanklin just before 8pm on Sunday December 9 after they received calls about a disturbance.
Police used the stun gun to detain a man at the scene who was taken into custody.
It has not yet been disclosed what weapon the suspect may have had.
A number of roads were closed in the area while police dealt with the incident.
