Motorcyclist Dies After Hampshire Crash

Police are investigating after a motorcyclist crashed near Southampton, and later died in hospital.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are appealing for witnesses and information after the crash in Rownhams on Sunday 7 July.
Around 4.50pm, the 42-year-old motorcyclist was involved in a single vehicle collision in Balmoral Way.
The man suffered life threatening injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital, where he sadly died.
The road was closed for three-and-a-half hours to allow officers to carry out investigations at the scene.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the motorcyclist prior to it.
