Hampshire Police say they're really worried about a missing girl who was the victim of human trafficking.
Suong Thi Bui, aged 17, vanished from her home in Lawrence Road, Ringwood. She was last seen at home at 4am on Saturday 19 October and had left home by 10.30am at the latest.
Detective Inspector, Jim Park said:
“An earlier appeal for witnesses brought some useful information and possible sightings providing new lines of enquiry that are being followed up by detectives.
“However, as time passes our concern deepens for Suong’s safety.
“She was brought to the UK through illegal human trafficking and was put into the care of social services after being found working.
“She speaks very little English and has no means of buying food or lodgings for herself, which raises our concerns further.
“She may still be in the local area however if she has gone further afield it is most likely she has gone to either to Bournemouth or London.
“We have two new photos of her and I would urge people to have a look. I would ask anyone who knows where she is or who thinks they may have seen her to contact my team.”
Those with information are asked to call the Western Area CID Team on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
