Police in West Sussex are looking into two crashes just minutes apart.
Both were in Bognor on Friday night (2 August).
A 33-year-old man is seriously ill in hospital after crashing his motorbike into parked cars.
The crash happened at 8pm as the motorcyclist was travelling east along Linden Road. His Honda CBR bike hit a parked Vauxhall Corsa and the pavement and he was thrown from the vehicle. The motorcycle then skidded down the road and hit a parked Suzuki van.
The motorcyclist, from Bognor, was taken to Southampton General Hospital suffering from broken arms and legs and internal injuries.
Anyone with information about the crash should call 101 quoting serial 1634 of 2 August or email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk.
Police are also appealing for witnesses after a man smashed a car into a wall during a test drive and fled.
The driver crashed the silver BMW into a wall in Fish Lane, also at about 8pm on Friday.
A white man aged about 25 with spikey hair was then seen limping away from the wreckage.
The man, who was skinny and wearing a light top and dark shorts, was carrying his shoes in his hands as he fled.
The wreckage of the BMW blocked the road.
It is believed that the suspect had just taken the car out for a test drive from its owner.
