Police are appealing for information after two men were racially assaulted in Southampton.
It happened at around 1pm on Saturday, September 10.
Two young Asian men walked past a group of around seven youths and were racially abused and then assaulted by the group in Townhill, one of whom was using a metal bar to hit the men.
The incident occurred around Middleton Road and Wakefield Road, and both men went to Southampton General Hospital for cuts and bruising on their faces.
The suspects were described as young white men aged between 18 – 21 years old.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident or knows who the suspects may be to contact PC Richards at Bitterne Police Station on 101, or call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
