Police are investigating after a man's body was found near Millbrook train station in Southampton on Sunday morning (12 January).
The station was sealed off while officers carried out a forensic investigation during Sunday. The death is being treated as unexplained.
It's thought the body was found on a nearby footpath.
The station was closed for several hours and passengers were diverted to Southampton Central but trains were still able to pass through the station.
No arrests have been made.
A Hampshire Police spokesperson said:
"Officers are continuing to investigate after the body of a man was found near to Millbrook train station this morning.
The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are underway to determine the circumstances around this incident.
If you were in the area either last night or in the early hours of today and have information which could assist our investigation, please call us on 101."
