Police are appealing for information after a teenage girl was approached by an unknown man in Portsmouth.
At around 12.30pm on Friday, December 2 a 15-year-old girl was on Meadowsweet Way, Paulsgrove, when she was approached by an unknown man in a silver two door car.
He asked the girl to get into his car to go for a ride. The girl declined and walked away.
The man police want to speak to is described as:
- White
- Aged in his late 20s
- Around 5ft 11ins
- Medium build
- Short stubble / beard
- Wearing a red Vodafone baseball cap, a yellow t-shirt, a green chequered coat, light blue jeans and black trainers / shoes
- He was driving a silver Ford Puma
PC Daniel Mathias, said: “I am appealing to anyone with any information about this incident to come forward. The incident took place in a reasonably busy area near a shop. Were you in the area at the time of the incident? Did you see the man we want to speak to, or a silver Ford Puma?
“I would urge anyone with any information to come forward, and to report any suspicous activity to the police immediately.”
