Hampshire Police are looking for four men who tried to rob a man at knifepoint in Hedge End near Southampton.
The 22-year-old was walking along Kings Copse Avenue when he was approached by four men at around 4.20am on Sunday.
He said that they pushed him up against a road sign, threatened him with a knife and assaulted him after they demanded his property.
The victim was left with minor cuts and bruises and nothing was stolen.
The four men are described as:
• White.
• One man was around 6 feet tall, aged in his 20's, and was wearing a scarf or balaclava over his face.
• Another man was holding a small knife.
• A third man was wearing a pair of blue Nike tracksuit bottoms
