Man Stabbed In Southampton

Police were called to a house in Winchester Road, Shirley, Southampton shortly before 12.45am on Sunday, June 26, following reports of a man with serious stab wounds.

The victim - a 28-year-old man from Southampton - was taken to Southampton General Hospital by South Central Ambulance Service. He remains in hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable.

Officers have arrested two people in connection with this incident. A 48-year-old man and a 35-year-old man, both from Southampton, remain in police custody at this time.

Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.
