A 35-year-old man has been charged with wounding with intent after a man was stabbed in Petersfield Square.
Just after 5.15pm on Wednesday July 20th officers were called to Petersfield Square to reports of a fight.
On arrival, they found a man with serious injuries. He was taken to Southampton Hospital by air ambulance, and he's recovering after treatment.
Neil Quinn of Dragon Street, Petersfield was also charged with possession of offensive weapon. He appeared at North East Hampshire Magistrates Court on Friday July the 23rd where he was bailed to reappear on August 4
