Man Stabbed During Row In Southampton

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man ended up with stab wounds following an argument that got out of hand in Southampton.

The victim was stabbed during the incident and also ended up with slash marks to the chest.
 
The 23-year-old was in Western Esplanade in the city somewhere between Asda and the NCP car park the when he got into the argument.
 
It happened some time between 6pm and 7.25pm on Saturday, February 25.
 
The man who stabbed him ran off.
 
He is described as: White, around 5 foot 5 to 5 foot 9 inches tall with short black hair in his early to mid 20s. He was wearing a black hooded tracksuittop with a zip at the front. 

The victims wounds have been treated and he was not seriously hurt in the incident. He is now back home.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who saw the altercation between the two men.
