Man Robbed At knifepoint In Havant

A man's been attacked an robbed by two men in Havant, who threatened him with a knife.

Police are now seeking witnesses to the assault, which happened outside The Fox pub in Prospect Lane on Tuesday, November 22. 

Between 9.30pm and 10pm a 33-year-old man was walking from the direction of Bartons Road towards Baybridge shops when he was stopped by two men coming from the direction of The Fox.

One was carrying a knife and the other grabbed the victim, demanding he give them his money. The victim handed over £150 in cash, before being punched by one of the suspects. They both then escaped on foot in the direction of the nearby park area. 

The victim received cuts and marks to his face, but did not require medical treatment. 

The suspects are described as: 

 

-White 

-Thin build. Described as 'skinny' and 'gaunt looking'. 

-Approximately 6ft tall 

-Wearing worn white trainers, dark tracksuit bottoms, a dark Adidas jacket with white stripes down the arms 

-No front teeth 

 

 

-White 

-5ft 5ins tall 

-Long styled dark hair 

-Stocky build 

-Wearing blue trainers and a black hooded top with an Adidas logo on chest and stripes down the arms. Described as 'scruffy looking'. 

Detective Constable Stuart Moore said:

 "This is a rare occurrence in the area and it is hoped that people using the pub that evening - or were in the area - may be able to identify the suspects. It is not known if they are local or if they were actually patrons of The Fox that evening. Of particular interest to us is if anyone saw two men running from the direction of The Fox pub in Prospect Lane at that time of the evening."
