Man Left With Bleed On The Brain After Assault

Police are investigating an assault that left a Southampton man with a bleed on the brain.

At about 1.15am Sunday, May 19, a 29-year-old man was assaulted outside of Pizza Go Go in Bedford Place, Southampton.

Detectives particularly want to hear from witnesses who saw a balding man in a light coloured long-sleeve shirt and another man with dark hair who has tattooed arms and was wearing a white short-sleeve tee shirt.

Detective Constable Martin Brewer is leading the investigation:

"There were lots of people around at the time of the incident, and police are appealing to them to make contact with officers."
