Man Kicked In The Head
Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted after a night out in Portsmouth.
At some time between 11.45pm on Monday, September 19 and 12.15am on Tuesday, September 20 the 20-year-old victim was walking alone after a night out at the Guildhall.
He was walking through Somerstown through the play area between Radnor Street and Dunsmore Close, when he was jumped from behind and kicked to the head and body.
The victim was kicked numerous times to the head causing bruising and a broken tooth. He also sustained heavy bruising to his back and torso. He was treated at the Queen Alexandra Hospital.
PC Helen Cox, said:
"This appears to be an unprovoked attack on a man who was minding his own business. I am very keen to speak to anyone who may have heard or seen anything relating to this incident. The information they may have could
help us ensure the offender or offenders are brought to justice."
