A 24 year old woman's been indecently assaulted as she walked along the road in Havant.
Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident in Highlawn Way on Sunday, April 3.
At about 6.55pm a 24-year-old woman was walking along the road when she was approached from behind by a man.
The suspect grabbed her by the arm and exposed himself to her.
The victim broke free of the man's grasp and left the area. It is not known which direction the offender left in.
The suspect is described as:
-White
-Approximately 35 to 40-years-old
-Approximately 5ft 8ins tall
-Slim build
-Shoulder length, wavy and greasy dyed black hair with grey roots
-Grey stubble
-Long pointed nose
-Sunken eyes
-Had a generally unwell appearance
Wearing stonewash denim jean jacket and a black top. Black belt with large silver buckle. Stonewash denim jeans tucked into black steel toe-capped workboots
PC Michael Clark said:
"This incident has left the victim understandably shaken and upset and we are very keen to trace the offender before he has a chance to repeat this kind of behaviour again.
"The victim states she first noticed the suspect standing at the bus stop in Middle Park Way. She also remembers passing a man walking a black and white border collie dog close to where the incident happened just before it.
"The description she gave is excellent and we are hoping somebody may recognise it and get in touch.
"If you witnesses the assault or have any informationt hat could assist us, please call as soon as possible."
