A man who died in a crash in Havant Road, Hayling Island has been named by police.
David Stiller from Grebe Close in Waterlooville was driving a Ford Transit Minibus south along the A3023, Havant Road, at about 5.50am on Wednesday, March 2.
For unknown reasons, the vehicle veered to the nearside kerb, collided with the kerb and then a lamp post causing the vehicle to overturn.
The 36-year-old sustained serious life-threatening injuries and was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
There were two passengers in the vehicle at the time of the crash, both of whom are from Havant.
A 47-year-old man sustained a broken arm and a 36-year-old man sustained minor injuries.
Both have since been released from hospital.
A section of the road was closed for about two hours to allow a full investigation to take place.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash or who saw the van prior to the collision.
