A man from Poole has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with 11 offences, including attempted murder and five counts of rape.
Armed police arrested Dean Goodwin on Tuesday in connection with an attack on a woman in Poole.
Officers launched a nationwide manhunt for Goodwin after a woman, aged in her 20s, was subjected to a serious sexual assault at an address in the town on Friday.
Dorset investigators last night (28th November) charged Goodwin with four counts of rape and one count of false imprisonment.
He has also been charged in connection with a burglary in Wimborne and a commercial burglary in the Wallisdown area of Poole.
Goodwin has also been charged with attempted murder, rape, robbery and sexual assault. These alleged incidents took place in Andover.
He appeared before Bournemouth Magistrates' Court this morning (29th November).
