Man Charged With Inciting Violent Disorder
Police have charged a man with inciting violent disorder following an investigation into posts made on Facebook.
20-year-old Mitchel Stancombe from Kingsley Gardens in Totton is due before Southampton Magistrates Court today (Friday, August 12).
He was arrested by police in Southampton yesterday and charged with the offence under section 44 of the Serious Crime Act 2007.
A man and a woman, aged 25 and 27, who were arrested on Wednesday night (August 10) on suspicion of attempting to incite violence on the social networking site Twitter have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
