Man Charged With Attacking Police

A man's been charged with a string of offences - including assaulting police - after officers were called to his home in Southampton.

Police in Southampton have charged a man with assault, assault on police, obstruction of a police officer and criminal damage to a police vehicle. 

Scott James Green, 29, of Wavell Road, Southampton was arrested at his home address on Sunday, August 5, on suspicion of two assaults on a woman. 

He was subsequently charged with: 

* Two assaults by beating 

* Assault on a police constable

* Obstruction of a police constable in the execution of his duty 

* Criminal damage to a police vehicle.
