A 34-year-old man from Waterlooville was arrested at 2.15am on Saturday, February 18, 2012 on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm without intent. He was questioned in custody and then bailed until next month pending further enquiries.

Officers were called to the Colonial bar in Portsmouth Road at 1.41am on Saturday. A 33-year-old man from Fareham was taken to hospital with a head injury that is potentially serious. However, he remains stable at this time.
