Man Attacked In Garden Shed In Gosport
A man has received face, chest and arm injuries after being assaulted at his home in Gosport.
The 24-year-old victim was inside his garden shed near The Crossways in the Elson area of the town when he was approached by two or three people between 1pm and 1.15pm on Tuesday, October 22, 2013.
He received a black eye and several injuries to his chest and an arm during the assault by the men in his shed. Nothing was stolen from the shed or from the victim's home.
The suspects were described as around 6 ft tall, of muscular build, and wearing hooded tops with the hoods up.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Heather Noad said:
"This appears to be a targeted crime; we have no information to suggest anyone else is likely to be at risk from a similar assault at home.
"Our investigation is not being linked to any other crimes. We are appealing to encourage anyone with information about the identity of suspects to come forward.
"If you noticed any men acting unusually in The Crossways area at around 1pm on Tuesday, please contact Fareham CID."
