Police investigating the burglary of a number of high value jackets from Go Outdoors in Millbrook, Southampton have arrested a 29-year-old man.
Police were called just after 4am on Sunday, October 9, to the store on Third Avenue, however CCTV shows that the offenders had been in the area since around 3:30am. They forced entry to the car park, and drove on to the site in two vehicles.
The offenders entered the store and stole a large number of high value outdoor jackets. They then drove away.
Officers have been following up leads ever since and today arrested a 29-year-old man from the city on suspicion of the burglary and also on suspicion of a house burglary in Southampton and a shoplifting offence in Romsey.
He is currently being questioned by officers.
Officers are still appealing for any information about the burglary and would also like to hear from anyone who things they may have been offered some of the clothing.
