Laziness Costing Us Millions

Capital's been told we're wasting £56m in Hampshire every year on electricity as we can't be bothered to switch off things like TVs and computers.

That comes after a government report showed up to 16% of our bills are taken up by appliances being left on stand-by.

It also revealed how the average person watches telly for over 6 hours a day, making it the most expensive part of our utilities, closely followed by lighting. 

Energy saving group - Energenie - says most people are too lazy or just don't know it's costing them money.
